The dedicated team behind The Elder Scrolls Renewal project have released a new trailer, updating us on the progress they have made so far. If you are not familiar with the project, allow me to explain: A team of modders/developers joined forces to try to revive The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind on the Skyrim engine, thus forming ‘Skywind’. Now you have that ‘Elder’ knowledge, please take a moment to absorb the trailer below:
The trailer is superb to say the least, and the prospect of playing a version of Morrowind that isn’t 14 years old makes me even more excited. Furthermore, for me personally, I haven’t enjoyed the combat system in Elder Scrolls games since skyrim and so running the game on the skyrim engine was a fantastic idea.
Moreover, everything shown in the trailer is “but a small fraction” of the work done on Skywind so far, according to the video description. However, if you want to keep in touch with the development team, or possibly even join them in development, you can follow their website tesrenewal.com.
Finally, there are no details on the release of the game as of yet, but if any do pop up, I will be sure to let you know.
