The definitive edition of Ori and the Blind Forest is getting a physical PC release on June 14th, bringing the highly praised platformer into your living room. Moreover the definitive Edition comes with new areas, music, story elements, more abilities, and it also introduces a new Easy difficulty option.
The standard edition is priced at $20 and includes premium packaging, an A3 poster, the quick-start guide, and the game. However the Limited Edition version is priced at $30 and includes a steelbox, the quick-start guide, the game, an audio CD, two postcards and two double-sided A3 posters. As shown by the picture above, the artwork on the postcards and the steel tin look just as fantastic as the game itself. Furthermore, it makes a nice change to see a physical copy of a video game- this seems to be a rare sight nowadays.
“Since we released Ori and the Blind Forest, we’ve received many mails, tweets and requests from fans asking for a boxed retail release, so we’re extremely pleased to finally make everyone’s wish come true,” said Thomas Mahler, CEO of developers Moon Studios.
